We Are All In This Together
In 1974 the city of Lake Oswego recognized the first neighborhood associations to improve the quality of life in the city, increase citizen participation in local decision making, and form an effective partnership between the city and neighborhood residents. As of this time, there are 24 recognized neighborhood associations within the 28 Lake Oswego neighborhoods. Each of the neighborhood associations are unique, but the people are similar. We may take our lovely parks and pathways or fantastic schools for granted, but the beauty and livability of Lake Oswego takes countless hours of volunteer effort from dedicated individuals who serve in the Lake Oswego neighborhood associations.
Issues affecting Bryant neighborhood often affect nearby neighborhoods. Bryant has four adjacent Lake Oswego neighborhoods, Lake Grove to the north, Childs to the south, Rosewood to the west and south, and Blue Heron to the east. On the west Bryant is also bordered by the Lake Oswego Southwest Employment Area. We share many issues in common with these areas. Being a part of BNA provides an opportunity to network with all Lake Oswego Neighborhood Associations to improve livability in our greater community and city and to keep this a great place to live for years to come.
If you are not a member of the Bryant Neighborhood, then we encourage you to review the city’s map to find and contact your Neighborhood Association.
